Borenius to Withdraw from Russia

We condemn Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine and its people, and we are deeply shocked by the atrocities taking place in Ukraine. Due to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Borenius Attorneys Ltd has decided to withdraw from Russia.

We opened our St Petersburg office in 2013 with the aim to help Finnish and international companies invest in the Russian market and to uphold the rule of law. The war will have wide-reaching and long-term implications, and in the new reality caused by the aggressive actions Russia has undertaken in Ukraine, it is no longer possible for us to continue our operations in St Petersburg.

While withdrawing from Russia, we will carefully take the needs of our clients and personnel into consideration.
