Taking Actions for a More Equal Society

We are thrilled to be part of the Helsinki Pride community – together we can take actions for a more equal society. This year, Helsinki has dedicated the past four weeks for the celebration of Helsinki Pride, the biggest LGBTQIA+ event and the largest cultural event focusing on human rights in Finland.

We are proud of the work that the Helsinki Pride community makes for the promotion of human rights, equality, and equity. In the eyes of the law and society, everyone must be equal, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. We share these values in our work community, which is why we are extremely honoured of the latest recognition, the Ylpeys muuttaa maailmaa (The Pride to Change the World) award, that was given to us by the Helsinki Pride Community for our efforts to promote diversity, equality, and human rights.

Even though the Pride month has now come to an end, we will continue to build an open and safe society for all regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression and encourage people for open discussion free of fear and discrimination – every month of the year.
