Borenius Celebrates 15 Years of Environmental Leadership through WWF’s Green Office Programme

As a significant milestone in our environmental sustainability goals, we are proud to announce that our long-term partnership with the WWF Green Office programme further continues. This collaboration underscores our dedication to sustainability practices in the office and work life, a journey that began 15 years ago.

We have been an integral part of the Green Office community since 2009, making it one of the first major law firms in Finland to achieve certification under the programme. The Green Office programme, initiated by WWF, focuses on promoting eco-friendly practices in office environments, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility, and reducing the ecological footprint of businesses.

Our operations are audited every five years to review our achievements and initiatives in relation to the Green Office objectives. In our most recent audit last November, we were recognised for our commitment to meeting environmental targets, implementing an efficient recycling system and choosing to use only pure Finnish tap water instead of bottled water and drinks.

We remain at the forefront of legal excellence while setting a benchmark for environmental responsibility, showcasing that law firms can lead the way in creating a better, more sustainable future.
