Aksu Tuominen Promoted to Counsel
We are excited to announce that Aksu Tuominen from our Capital Markets team has been promoted to Counsel as of 1 January 2022.

Aksu advises our clients on capital markets transactions, such as initial public offerings, rights offerings and debt offerings. In addition to capital markets work, Aksu is familiar with new regulation related to sustainability and sustainable investing. Aksu also has an active role in promoting our international offices, both in London and New York. In addition to his legal degree, Aksu holds an MBA and a Master of Arts degree.
Aksu joined us in June 2021 and immediately took a key role in one of the most exciting Finnish IPOs of the year when Borenius assisted Modulight Corporation, a Tampere-based biomedical laser company, on its September 2021 EUR 90.9 million IPO to Nasdaq First North Growth Market Finland. Seppo Orsila, CEO of Modulight Corporation describes Aksu as ”one of the driving forces behind our hugely successful IPO.” Orsila also says:
