Borenius Takes Its Robust Green Transition Capabilities to the Topmost Level: Three New Partners to Join
Partners Miika Pinomaa and Heidi Malmberg join from Castrén & Snellman and Hanna Lehtinen rejoins from UPM.
We are delighted to announce that our robust green transition roster grows in excellence and size as three market-leading experts join our ranks as partners.
Miika Pinomaa brings extensive experience and a proven track record in advising on high profile and complex energy and infrastructure sector projects, within and beyond both traditional and alternative energy sources. By way of example, he has advised on wind turbine EPC contracts surpassing 4,000 MW, which constitutes over half of the capacity installed in Finland. Miika’s deep understanding of business-related decision making adds value to clients in a wide range of energy and infrastructure projects, including international supply and turnkey transactions.
Heidi Malmberg’s stellar quality commitment is based on years of involvement in various kinds of infrastructure projects, transactions, permitting and environmental liability matters – some of which have been ‘first for Finland’ projects. Her knowledge and experience of the rapidly developing battery industry are sought for by clients. Heidi contributes to Borenius’ distinctive service capabilities, which speak to clients with business interests in both the US and Finland, as she is also admitted to practice in New York.
Hanna Lehtinen returns to Borenius from UPM. She has vast experience of environmental matters, advising clients on issues relating to permitting, land use planning, biodiversity, the circular economy, biomaterials and renewable energy projects with an emphasis on wind and hydropower as well as power-to-X projects. Hanna brings invaluable process industry sector knowledge to the projects that she will handle for our clients.
