About Heidi
Heidi is a dual-qualified (Finland and New York) regulatory lawyer who focuses her practice on the permitting of infrastructure, industrial operations and environmental liability questions. She has worked on many landmark or first for Finland industrial and infrastructure projects within various industrial sectors, including the battery materials sector and off-shore infrastructure projects. Heidi has been ranked by IFLR1000 as a Notable Practitioner for project development in the mining and natural resource sectors.
Heidi has almost 20 years of experience in complex permitting and environmental liability questions first from an authority perspective and later from private practice. She takes a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach and strives to find innovative solutions for complex situations.
Prior to joining Borenius, Heidi was a Partner at another major Finnish law firm.
