Nora Hietanen

Nora specialises in employment and labour law with a particular focus on employment-related disputes and negotiation proceedings.

Nora provides strategic advisory to both domestic and international clients on a wide range of cases relating to employment disputes, co-operation procedures, terminations of employment, collective bargaining agreements, terms of employment, corporate restructurings, employee privacy, and discrimination as well as occupational safety and health matters.

Nora joined Borenius as an Associate in December 2021, and before that she worked as an Employment Lawyer at another Finnish business law firm. Prior to her graduation, Nora also gained experience by working as an Associate Trainee at multiple international business law firms in Helsinki and volunteered at the Rovaniemi District Court and Court of Appeal.

In addition to her law studies at the University of Lapland, Nora has studied law at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
