Topi Leinonen

Topi advises our clients primarily on assignments related to banking and finance. He has experience in advising financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and other market participants on domestic and cross-border financing arrangements, with a particular focus on bank lending and debt capital markets transactions.

Topi joined Borenius as an Associate in 2024. Prior to that, he worked as an associate at another Finnish business law firm. Topi has also gained valuable in-house experience from working as a visiting lawyer at OP Corporate Bank plc.

In addition to his master’s degree in law, Topi holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from the University of Turku, where he studied accounting and business law.
