Lawyer to Our Restructuring & Insolvency Team
Our Restructuring & Insolvency team is looking for a lawyer to join our firm in a permanent position.
Borenius currently employs over 230 people and is one of the largest and most experienced law firms in Finland. We provide high quality services in all areas of law for our corporate clients. We have offices in Helsinki, Tampere, London, and New York.

Our Restructuring & Insolvency team focuses primarily on engagements related to the legal administration of companies undergoing bankruptcy, restructuring, or liquidation as well as voluntary arrangements and workouts. We are efficient and able to achieve results in demanding insolvency and distress financing related cases. We successfully act both as an adviser to creditors and debtors and as an administrator on assignments that involve both domestic and international aspects.
We are known for having a mandate in the most important insolvency cases in Finland. According to the latest comparison of law firms by Prospera, clients have rated Borenius's R&I team as the best in Finland for four consecutive years. We are always keen to provide the highest quality advice to our clients with our focus being on finding the best solutions. We are now looking to strengthen our team to ensure that we are able to respond to the high demands of our clients even better.

What do you need to succeed?
- A master’s degree in law and relevant qualifications to practice law in Finland.
- You have worked as a lawyer in Finland already for a few years or you are a more seasoned expert.
- In-depth knowledge of Finnish bankruptcy and restructuring legislation.
- The willingness to strive for outstanding performance and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Fluency in written and spoken Finnish and English.
