Borenius acts as the bankruptcy administrator of Takoma Oyj and Takoma Gears Oy

We act as the bankruptcy administrator of Takoma Oyj and Takoma Gears Oy which were declared bankrupt on 21 March 2017 by the decision of the District Court of Pirkanmaa. Borenius’ insolvency practice, led by estate administrator Leo Lagerstam, was appointed as the bankruptcy estate administrator for both bankruptcy estates. The bankruptcy decisions gained legal force on 29 March 2017. The bankruptcy estate of Takoma Gears Oy sold the machinery and equipment belonging in the bankruptcy estate to Supersteel Oy, which leads to a beneficial outcome for the creditors. It is very seldom that a publicly listed company is declared bankrupt, the previous case was in 2013.
