Borenius advised a Finnish listed technology company on a data breach related police investigation

We assisted a publicly listed Finnish technology company on a police investigation that related to a suspected data breach. A foreign hacker was suspected to have used a senior employee’s user account to commit the data breach in question. We assisted the company with its internal investigation of the relevant events and in the subsequent police investigation.
