We advised a strategic investor and partner on their investment in Onego Bio, a US-Finnish food-biotech company revolutionising the food system by harnessing the power of precision fermentation to manufacture real egg protein entirely animal-free. Our advice also covered the commercial arrangements concerning the research and development partnerships among the parties.

Our client’s corporate venture capital investment was part of the USD 40 million Series A round of financing in Onego Bio. The round was led by NordicNinja and included equity investments from Tesi and EIT Food as well as existing investors Agronomics, Maki.vc, Holdix and Turret, and certain strategic partners.
