Borenius advised Aberdeen Standard Investments on the acquisition of a 66% stake in Outokummun Energia

We advised SL Capital Infrastructure II, a fund managed by Aberdeen Standard Investments, on its acquisition of a 66% majority stake in Outokummun Energia Oy from the City of Outokumpu. Outokummun Energia produces, sells and distributes electricity and heat. The company maintains an electricity distribution network that encompasses a total of 1,000 km of powerlines and a district heating network composed of altogether 30 km of pipelines. Aberdeen Standard Investment is a UK-based global investment company with a total of over EUR 500 billion in assets under its management.
