Borenius advised Componenta on a EUR 9.5 million rights offering

We advised Componenta on its EUR 9.5 million rights offering and the subsequent reverse split of Componenta shares. Componenta’s rights offering is intended to strengthen Componenta’s financial position, and after its successful completion, Componenta intends to start negotiations with creditors for prematurely paying off the parent company’s restructuring debts.

Componenta expects for its potential release from the restructuring programme to have significant positive effects on the business of the whole group. After the rights offering, Componenta executed a reverse split to enhance trading conditions for the shares and to contribute to efficient price formation on the stock market.
