We advised Fonecta Group (Sponsor Capital’s portfolio company) on its acquisition of Swedish hitta.se (hittapunktse AB), a leading provider of information services in Sweden.

In the transaction, hitta.se became part of Fonecta Group, expanding the group’s services to Sweden. Together with hitta.se, Fonecta Group becomes a leading provider of information services in Finland and Sweden. Hitta.se’s revenue in 2023 was approximately SEK 240 million.

Fonecta Group specialises in digital marketing, taxi, and information services. The group has been established in 2002, and its revenue in 2023 was approximately EUR 70 million.

Sponsor Capital is a Finnish private equity firm that invests in small- and medium-sized Finnish companies. Since the company’s establishment, Sponsor Capital’s funds have invested almost EUR 800 million in altogether 42 Finnish companies. Sponsor Capital currently actively manages private equity funds worth a total of approximately EUR 400 million.
