Borenius advised in the business combination of Prevent Group and Avarn Security

We advised Finnish private equity sponsor Intera and its portfolio company Prevent Group on a transaction where Finnish security companies Prevent 360 Group and AVARN Security agreed to combine their businesses. The two companies signed their business combination deal on 22 January 2018.

Prevent 360 is owned by Intera Partners, and Sector Alarm Group owns and manages AVARN Security. The arrangement requires the approval of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA).

Once the arrangement takes place, it will create a new security company that focuses on serving companies and public organisations. The businesses included in the combination are security services, alarm center services, and security technology. The current owners of the companies will stay on as shareholders.
