Borenius advised investor consortium on Kemira’s research centre project

We advised investors Ahlström Capital, Aktia Life Insurance and Kirkon Eläkerahasto when they agreed to build and lease new R&D premises to Kemira as part of the Green Chemistry Park concept to be built in Finnoo, Espoo. The business premises concept comprising approximately 25,000 square meters of floor area will include a state-of-the-art laboratory and office spaces next to apartment buildings and a large park.

The value of the investments by Kemira and the consortium will amount to approximately EUR 70–80 million in total. The new research centre is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2024.
