Borenius advised Lahti Energia in procurement of key parts for new Kymijärvi III power plant

We advised Lahti Energia Oy in the purchase of a boiler island and a flue gas condensing plant for its new Kymijärvi III power plant. We will continue to support Lahti Energia Oy in its project to build a EUR 165 million power plant in Lahti, Finland. The new power plant will burn 100% biomass (sustainable certified wood). Upon commercial operation of the plant, the CO2 emissions of Lahti Energia will be reduced by 20% from the level of 1990. The Kymijärvi III test run phase is scheduled to start during summer 2019. The new power plant will replace the existing coal fired plant Kymijärvi I.
