Borenius advised Nordic Science Investments on the formation of a fund focusing on science-based startups

We advised Nordic Science Investments (NSI) on the formation of its first fund. The target size of the fund is EUR 60 million and it has already commenced its investment activities.

NSI is a sector agnostic science investor focusing on research and innovations through active co-operation with universities. It seeks to strengthen the Finnish innovation and startup ecosystem around universities, help in commercialisation and provide strategic support to early stage university spinout companies.

The members of the NSI team have gained experience in academic research, technology transfers and commercialisation of innovations, and they may be involved in development processes already in a very early stage.
