Borenius advised OP Corporate Bank plc on the financing of Infranode’s acquisition of MPY Telecom Oyj

We advised OP Corporate Bank plc on the financing of Infranode’s acquisition of MPY Telecom Oyj, a Finnish fibre and telecom infrastructure owner and operator.

In addition to financing the acquisition, the financing provided by OP Corporate Bank plc will be put toward the group’s capital expenditures relating to modernisation, the expansion of fibre and cable TV networks, and/or the construction of new telecom towers, and corporate and working capital purposes.

MPY Telecom’s telecom towers form the core infrastructure of the regional mobile network. In addition, its fiber optic networks provide thousands of households, companies, and public organisations with telecommunication connections that meet the requirements of a modern digital society, ensuring readiness for the future as well.
