Borenius advised Sandvik on the acquisition of Akkurate

We advised Sandvik on the acquisition of Akkurate, a frontrunner in holistic battery management that provides remote battery diagnostic and prognostic platforms.

With the acquisition of Akkurate, Sandvik will further solidify its leading position in electrification competence and know-how in battery analytics. The acquisition will also serve to strengthen Sandvik’s status as the go-to in-house developer of battery electrical vehicle (BEV) technology in the industry.

Akkurate, which was established in 2016 by members of Nokia/Microsoft’s battery R&D team, consists of 12 professionals with in-depth knowledge of Li-ion technology.
