Borenius advised Sparkmind.vc on the formation of the first Nordic EdTech venture investment fund

We advised Sparkmind.vc (formerly EduImpact) on the formation of its first fund, which is the first Nordic venture fund to focus on EdTech. The fund raised EUR 40 million at its first closing and will continue fundraising to reach a cap of EUR 60 million.

The geographic focus of the fund is Northern Europe, but it may also invest in companies domiciled outside of the region. It aims to support businesses in all areas of education from early childhood and K12 to corporate and lifelong learning.
