Borenius advised the lenders in connection with an approximately EUR 46 million project financing for a solar power plant in Finland

We represented the lenders (SEB and ABN Amro) in connection with the non-recourse project financing for Alight Ukko Oy to develop and construct Alight’s first solar power plant in Finland, in the municipality of Eurajoki. The aggregate amount of the financing is approximately EUR 46 million, and includes a term loan facility, VAT facility, DSR facility and an L/C facility. Once completed, the solar power plant will have with an estimated total nominal power capacity of 100 MWp, making it one of the largest solar power plants in Finland so far and contributing to the shift towards renewable energy production in the country.
