We advised the sellers on the sale of all shares in Scredo Oy (operating under the Scandia Rent brand) to MABI Mobility AB.

Scredo Oy is a Finnish car rental company with rentals in over 100 locations around Finland. Its history is rooted in the 1940s, as it is the very first rental company in Finland.

MABI Mobility AB is part of Hedin Mobility Group and it is one of Sweden’s largest individual car rental companies. Since the start in Stockholm in 1989, the company has grown constantly and is represented in 180 locations with 9,600 vehicles in Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland.

Through the acquisition, MABI Mobility Group strengthens its position in the market and offers its customers improved opportunities for flexible and reliable car rental in Finland. Similarly, Scandia Rent stands to gain from MABI’s extensive resources and expertise, facilitating its continued development and expansion within the Finnish market.
