Borenius advised Vaaka Partners on the sale of Kotikatu

We advised Vaaka Partners on the sale of Kotikatu. After the transaction is complete, Kotikatu and PHM Group, which is owned by the private equity firm Norvestor, will have merged to become Finland’s leading provider of residential property services.

Kotikatu is Finland’s largest property services company with approximately 6500 housing cooperatives as clients. Combined, these cooperatives own a total of 110 000 apartments, which are inhabited by almost 300 000 residents. Over the last three years, Kotikatu has increased its revenue from approximately EUR 55 million to approximately EUR 120 million through a combination of organic growth and several acquisitions.

The transaction is currently pending approval from the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.
