Borenius advising HUS on a contractual matter regarding CleverHealth network

We are acting as the legal partner for the CleverHealth network established by the Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) together with a number of leading technology companies, such as Nokia, Fujitsu, IBM and GE Healthcare.

We provide active support to HUS in building novel approaches for the co-development and validation of emerging digital health technologies such as neural networks and opportunities to leverage the vast amounts of data generated by HUS’s activities. This requires conceiving models for co-operation between hospitals and technology partners that are suited to these new kinds of joint R&D projects.

HUS forms one of the largest healthcare providers in Europe, with a national responsibility in Finland to treat severe and rare illnesses and ones that require special expertise and technology.
