Borenius represented Lindex Group Oyj in disputes concerning the termination of lease agreements during restructuring

We represented Lindex Group Oyj (formerly Stockmann Oyj “Stockmann”) in several high-stakes disputes against the multiple landlords of its different department stores and one office building in Finland.

Stockmann terminated the lease agreements signed between the parties during corporate restructuring. The landlords claimed a total of EUR 69 million in damages based on the premature terminations of the agreements.
