Borenius secured its client’s position in the styrofoam cartel proceedings

We advised a company that received immunity from paying the penalty payments as it was the first to contact the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority and provide information on the styrofoam cartel. The Finnish Market Court imposed penalty payments totalling to EUR 3.2 million on two companies for being engaged in price-fixing in Finland during the period of November 2012 and the summer of 2014.
