Borenius successfully assisted a public entity in environmental litigation against a Finnish municipality

We assisted a public entity in a case concerning the allocation of an approximately EUR 15 million environmental remediation liability for an old landfill between the current landowner and the municipality that had previously operated the landfill. All authorities and administrative court instances, including the Supreme Administrative Court, ruled in favour of our client.
