Borenius successfully represented an electronics manufacturer in a dispute against its option right holders

We successfully represented a listed foreign electronic equipment manufacturing company’s Finnish subsidiary in a dispute against its option right holders.

The options holders accused the company and its board of directors of providing false information about the options before the sale of the company to its current parent company. They also claimed that the Finnish Limited Liability Companies Act had been breached when the options were granted and claimed damages from the company.

We represented the company in FAI arbitration where all claims against our client were dismissed and opposing parties were ordered to bear their legal fees in full.
